Onica positioned in the Challengers quadrant for its ability to execute and completeness of vision
Onica, a Premier Consulting Partner in the Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) and AWS Managed Service Provider, has been recognized by independent analyst firm Gartner, Inc. in the Challengers quadrant of the 2018 Magic Quadrant for Public Cloud Infrastructure Managed Service Providers, Worldwide.
The Gartner assessment evaluates providers worldwide based on their completeness of vision and ability to execute. Onica was among 20 vendors that were recognized in the report.
Onica’s Managed Service Offering
Onica Cloud OpsPilot is a combination of two innovative offerings focused on customer enablement and transformation. Cloud Ops is an out-of-the-box operational suite, backed by Onica’s certified AWS engineers, that serves as ‘your eyes and ears on the cloud.’ While Cloud Pilot provides customers with a team of on-demand, highly skilled AWS engineers, solutions architects, and project managers dedicated to continually innovating, evolving, and improving customers’ environments on their ‘journey to cloud native.’
“Any number of legacy outsourcing providers can monitor and maintain environments, but we learned very quickly that customers are actually seeking more from their managed services partner,” said Tolga Tarhan, CTO of Onica. “The path to cloud-native leverages cutting edge automation practices, pre-built assets from the Onica Platform library and embraces a ‘do-with’ vs. ‘do-for’ approach to helping customers achieve operational excellence within the cloud.”
Fueled by a continually expanding portfolio of cloud computing solutions and enterprise clientele, Onica has grown more than 300% over the last two years to become a global cloud transformation company. Onica joined the AWS Partner Network (APN) in 2013. Since that time, the company has led some of the fastest, most complex migrations to AWS and ranks among the top APN Partners globally boasting more than 250 AWS certifications, nine AWS competencies, and a large customer base continually consuming AWS services.
“We feel that Gartner is the preeminent viewpoint on the technology sector and we’re thrilled to be included this year,” said Stephen Garden, CEO of Onica. “Helping customers embrace the breadth of AWS innovation to transform their businesses is what we do best, and to us, having Gartner recognize our skills in this space is a true honor.”
Onica has been a regular on the Inc. 5000 list of America’s Fastest-Growing Private Companies. They have also been named a CRN® Triple Crown Award Winner – forty North American solution providers had the necessary revenue, growth, and technical expertise to be recognized on three of CRN’s pre-eminent solution provider lists, earning them the Triple Crown Award this year.
